This is mostly for making seed and maybe I'll throw the 1000 watt MH in from time to time. I've found a Ak47 x Diesel autoflower by lowlife seeds that I really like. The reason I need seeds.
Looking in thru the door. The room 5 ft. wide,7 ft. long on the left and 5 ft. long on the right.The height is 8-6. The back wall(behind the light) is at an angel.
From the T5 light up.
Hoping that a/c and a Stanly fan will keep it cool in there.
There is 6 inchs of insulation in the ceiling and 4 inchs in the walls.
Its 9pm here. The outside temp is 82f. In the room with no fan or a/c is 94f. The light has been on for an hour.
This is the heat to be delt with.
This is the 1st time with a T5. It has 8 tubes($300 cost)4at 6500, 4 at 3500 and more heat.
Maybe should of gone with a 400 watt hps with air cooled hood.To late now.
Any ideas on any of it?
Will do a test run in a day or so with lights, a/c and fan.

What do you plan on doing in this room? Looks pretty cool to me. I wish I had a space like that to work with.

your best bet would be to put a air vent near the ceiling, pipe it outside of that room and have a fan blowing air into the room. Kind of like how air ventilators work in bathrooms to help cut down on heat and moisture....
IDK if i like the idea of having an AC in the actual grow room...

My buddy has a fairly large stand alone ac unit in his room and has no problems. I'm looking into adding one myself.

A/C is not an option. 7am and 82f to start the day. It will be just under a 100f for the high.
Not even going to start grow till Sept.Cooler nights.
Wanted to go hydro my next time round but have to build a water chiller first. Will need this during my winter and a heater sometimes.
Heat is a big issue here.

Damn that T5 puts off heat but a Stanly utility fan and the a/c controls it.
Have a few light leaks around door. Will fix this week end.
I fell seed germination is closer than I thought.
