thought it was female but...........

ok my plant is about 3ft tall.it has non alternating nodes up to the 8th node.the 9th 10th 11th 12th and 13th nodes are alternating.Could someone help explain please

This is my first grow.Its about 3 months old.its an potted plant outside.
The soil has is composed of home made 2 yr old compost, bat guano,worm castings, and i just recently added rock phosphate.Let me know what you think i can do.

they both alternate during the flowering stage

look for preflowers get a camerA

Alternating nodes is just a sign of sexual maturity. it doesn't tell you which sex, just that the plants are old enough to flower and reproduce

as harryB said, alternating nodes just means the plant has reached sexual maturity. Nothing to worry about. Just look at the preflowers, but until you're actually flowering, that is still just an educated guess. Do not kill any plants until they have clearly shown that they are male(pollen sacks)

no. there is no nutrient that is able to replace photosynthesis. the sun is the component that makes nutrients get consumed. nutrients themselves are worthless without sunlight.
