 First grow, few questions(got pics)

I know a pretty good amount about growing, and ive been fine all throughout veg, i just started flowering a week or so ago and ive noticed on one of my plants a small area on the stem is turning redish.
I am aware it could be a nutrient deficiency but a friend of mine the other day mentioned something about an increase in THC production but that doesn't make sense 2 me so can someone help me?

Redness on stems may indicate nitrogen deficiency, especially in vegitative state. However many strains feature red patches without being deprived of nitrogen.
Since you're in the flowering stage, I advice you to not worry about it.

they look gr8 id say its the strain one of the favorite strains i have features bright pink stems all the way up the fan leaves and down the vein a little ways some times parts of the stalk will turn as well

That isn't enough to show a deficiency in anything. Red stems are in most cases red stems is phosphorus not nitrogen. Check the undersides of the leaves cause if it is a phosphorus deficiency it will start at the veins of the underside of the leaves then turn the stems red.
