....alright everyone, this is a pretty serious matter...
as a few of you know, i lost my job recently, and my unemployment benefits ran out just last week. well i had $200.00 to my name, and i used it to bail a long time aquaintance out of jail. his sister called me and asked if i could loan her some money to help bail him out. so i loaned her the only money i had to my name, and she said she would pay me back that friday(this was wednesday 4/23)
well friday came around and she said she was bringing my money to me. never showed up. fast forward a few weeks and still no money, and now its turned into not returning my calls or texts. neither her or her brother(who was the bailee) are making any effort to pay me back.
so i called the bail bondsman, and said this guy isnt planning on paying me back, i dont care what has to happen, i just want my money back, i need it right now more than anything, and they have no intention on paying me. he said hed talk to his supervisor and see if there was anythign he could do...
so after a week of tryin to get ahold of the bailbondsman to check on the situation and see if hed figured anything out, i was calling daily just to hear him say, "i havent spoke with my supervisor yet" or "im workin on it"...
well then today i called in, and hes in a very impatient mood and told me, "alright, its been processed, were revoking his bond" now i didnt want it to be just revoked, thats not what i had intended from the beginning, i just wanted my money and wanted him to see what could be done, next thing i know, this guys revoked the bond w/out notifying or asking me if i wanted to go ahead with it.
heres where it gets shitty, this guy i bailed outta jail is scum, he and i used to be real tight, but he thinks he can just walk all over whoever he wants. anyway, im not scum anymore. i call him to tell him that i put in a request to get my money back from the bailbondsman and that in the process they revoked his bail. so now hes threatining me with murder, and threatining to endanger my family. he knows where i live, and i know that we used to run with bad people back when we were kids, i can only imagine what kinda ppl he could have come after me now. he mostly all talk and always has been, but i dont want to find out how fulla shit he is for $200.00...
i dont live here, im just on vacation, but my family does. therefore i dont know anyone around here anymore to either get the heat off me, or watch my family when i leave...if i leave, he promises i wont make it to hawaii if he has to go back to jail. but like i said this guy is a scummy ass wigger whos all talk, but i dont want to leave my family to be harrased by him, or find out how serious he is about making sure i dont stay alive.
i need help, i dont know what kind. you guys are my home away from home, and i dont know who else to ask.

i got away from that lifestyle a long time ago, and now by tryin to help out an old friend, its backfired on me, and now my life is being threatened, and more importantly/more stressful, is that he knows where my parents live, and im leaving to hawaii in 22 days, and i wont be here to look out for them...
i mean what that bailbondsman did, is that illegal?
i didnt tell him "Revoke his bond" i said i want my money back and i dont think hes going to pay me. i followed up everyday with a phone call and he kept tellin me hes working on it, (working on what, i didnt know) and now all the sudden the process to revoke his bond is being put through...WTF?!?!?

Stand your fucking ground. Dont let him push you around. Hes a fucking faggot, if you tried to help him out when you didnt NEED to and he just spits in your face. Thats obsurd. Call him up talk to him. Be straight forward, tell him you paid the bail bond because you wanted to help, but you need the money now because your in bad shape. Don't back down or sound weak. He will take advantage of that. And if worse comes to worse i have a 9mm, 22 cal, 12 gage shotty i can lend you.
i did talk to him. when i found out that his bail was getting revoked without my permission, i STILL was a good person.
i cant own/posses or use firearms for the next however many years...
upon talking to the manager, he hung up on my 3 times tonight cuz he was too busy. when i told him i was now being threatened, he said i dont care thats btwn you two. and i said well i didnt tell you to revoke the bond, and he said well i already put it thought...and HIS supervisor is like a character from mythology, if i can barely talk to the manager, theres a 1/100000000000 of a chance ill speak to the supervisor, but i will try.
coaster came with the best advice so far, but it wont be the guy i bailed out that will come bringing shit, itll be someone he hired/gave some crack too...

nah, but really. i would carry a knife. and i might want to call the police. that would have to be a decision you made though based on how safe you felt.

well i have some warrants in other states, id rather not get involved with the popo, cant pack heat cuz my rights are revoked, and....
i think ill go buy a samari sword, is it illegal to carry one of those around???
im going up to the BB office monday, so we'll see how it goes...
hopefully, the BBman will admit his wrong doing, but this guy doesnt seem the type.
and dont worry, if you all havent noticed, im a pretty peaceful guy, im not gonna go up there screamin at him, cuz i learned a long time ago that gets you nowhere...
