Can you get one of these in a shop? Where would you go. I know I'll get told to go on ebay, but I hate paying more packaging than the cost of the actual thing I'm buying.

And yes th dreaded ebay or anywhere else online. Do a search for a Jeweler's loupe on google and find something local!
