I have a question about how much light should be used to stop stretching because I have two 15 watt 1200 lumen per bulb, for some reason they are still stretching they are a week old and have stretched dramatically any help or advice would be much appreciated.
Not mimicing everyone else, but MORE LIGHT. Not to one up grogan, But I use 43w CFL's of the Daylight type(200weqiv) and have 2 of them on my seeling tray, 2 more next to it for seedlings and clones that dont need a dome, and 2 more in the next spot over for when they start to get taller. Total of 6, and even though they are all in there own seperate area, any plant in any of these 3 areas, recieves light from all of the bulbs at all times and I have never had a stretching problem. Look how bushy my girls grow. Total cost fo bulbs, extension cords, and plug in sockets was around $60, which is everything you need to make a good light.
