I see.
Even in your grow log its just so damn green!  I gotta think there's too much Nitrogen in there.  On page eleven of the journal-the full plant picture-is that a good representation of the color?
Beyond the Sativa characteristics, and the macro-nutes I got nothin' without standing in the room with your plants.
You don't happen to live in Kansas do you?

I'm fairly sure it might be a PH problem as well... I wish I could just come on over and asess the situation!  I'm pretty sure his bagseed is about 75/25 Ind/Sat.  It's just taking so long because he's only got about 50w of CFL's on it.  It's very healthy it just takes longer with that amount of light.  You do the best with what you can and he has done a superior job for a first attempt.  My 1st try my plants didn't make it past 3 weeks.

Ya update....seems to me that the top of the plant is getting mottled with lime green and dark green....dont know what deficincy that is. But my buddy came over the other day (he has a PH tester) my water after I balanced it was 6.0 and thats the lowest I can seem to get it.

AHA!  This is too low!  The very lowest I adjust my soil is 6.2 and I (intentionally) let it swing all the way up to 6.7 or 6.8 and then adjust it back down again.
In a soil grow, as opposed to hydro, the pH needs to be a little more basic; at 6 you're locking out magnesium AND calcium which are critical during flowering.
Get that pH up around 6.5 for optimal uptake of Ca and Mg

Been takin' advice from hydro growers? :crazy2::lol::crazy2:

Honestly though, you are getting to learn a helluva lot more than somebody who just has a clean and easy first grow...
Once you're done with your first shot I'm gonna come up and you and I will build a real setup and a compost pile; if you've done this well with fuckin' MG and some fluorescents I know that thumb is dark green!

the ideal ph is around 6.5-7.0 for soil, and for hydro - around 5.5-6.5

Well sorry to say guys but today I woke up and my plant was dead with crunchy leaves....I had to harvest even though I didnt want to. But I found out what the problem was, or at least what I think it was. I cut the main stem near the bottom of the plant and the hole that brings water/nutes up was completely closed. Telling me that it might have been water/nute locked out. I got a clone off her so I have that rooting right now but I dont know if its going to take or not. My next question is what is the standard drying/curing procedure. I tried looking but I couldnt find really anything. Do I just hang it upside down for a week or so? And then put it in a mason jar and burp it once a day? What do you guys do?

People have told me to throw it into a paper sack in a dark closet for a week. Then into normal storage. Never tried this but have heard about this technique of curing alot lately?

edit: if anyone else has done this type of cure please elaborate?

I have heard of the brown paper bag method for curing. But what about drying lol how long do I dry them for? Till the stems snap?

well thats the thing i heard, was the paper sack dries and cures the herb. But i may have misunderstood that whole thing. What i understood was the week in the brown paper sack was it. After the week it is dry and cured to supposed perfection?
