i realize im posting quite a few treads, and i apologize. but i have a few questions, being a first timer growing!
as for drying and curing my bud, would it be suitable to hang up in my attic without smell or detection?
what's the best place without detection from other people in the house?

You've still got to dry it first or it will go moldy plus it wont cure properly without regular exposure to fresh air.
Besides, storage isn't really an issue, it's harvesting, manicuring and other handling that creates big stinks.

Build or buy a drying box with an activated carbon filter. But like hanky said, when you harvest and manicure your bud before drying it, it's gonna stink.

it's a small filter filled with activated carbon which scrubs the air so you can't detect any odors.

I don't really know how to cure bud, i was just referring to how some cure tobacco (from what I've read) but I won't give anymore advice in this thread seeing as I don't know what I'm talking about 
*oh, and people in the house might ask for free bud if you let them know you grew some? more than likely he's living with his parents though. You should find a friends house to do it in, or wait till you move out.

That's a better idea. It's really not fair to put your parents at so much risk. If you did get busted the cops wont care if your parents didn't know about it, they will still charge your parents and they could be jailed and loose their house.
Dry it at a friends place and give them a cut. A friend who owns or rents there own place.
