July 2009 Picture of the Month nominations

Someone can delete this after I ask this real quick...Is there a good guide on macro pictures? If I knew how I would take some just to take for everyone but I don't fucking know how to do it.

does your camera have a macro setting? having a good light source is key to taking a good macro shot, and i've noticed that flash seems to help but is not necessary if there is good lighting available. a steady hand also helps quite a bit. trial and error, find what works best for you.

Yea I definitely don't have a steady hand...A stand would be nice but I'm not going to get one yet.
It has a macro setting but its not the worlds best camera but it should do some nice pictures I just suck at it. I'll mess with it some and see if I can get it working.

mine isn't the best camera ever either, but it takes a decent macro.
just mess with yours and figure out what works best. that's what i did for mine.
