Mites can be a total pain in the ass. You need to launch a full on attack now before things get out of control, as there is a certain point where their population will just totally explode. Pyrethrin based miticides work well and are low enough in toxicity that they are suitable for indoor environments and early flowering.
If you don't want to do that, soak a cloth with your neem oil and individually wipe each leaf. Repeat after one week.
Sorry to see your poor Blue Kush plants meet their untimely demise... but glad you had backups!
I've always been a little weary of hydro systems due to their seemingly high sensitivity to any changes in the nutrient solution. Then again, I have no direct experience with hydro. Can you comment on past soil grows, and what ultimately convinced you to go full bore with the hydro system?

Though currently she's focusing most of her energy on exploring her baking and food decorating abilities, as she enjoys the work tremendously and everyone who has tried her stuff loves the look and taste. Could be her next career move.
Lookin' pretty good. With no direct hydro experience, it still seems an odd note on the increased PPM's over time.
On the next update, would you be so kind as to label two different shots; one from a cola directly under the UV and another from a cola that is away from the UV (but still receiving similar levels of HPS light) ?
