Oh, now its making even more logic now!
So, tlc, when you talked about them accusing you of being a puppet, which as Acidic_Sloth stated, was because you both had the same IP address as nicechrisman (which is your boyfriend).
So, is this what the "puppet search" is you talk about Acidic. It sounds like a program that seaches for any user is "posing" as someone else, by checking their IP address. Basically, its like a anti-hacking program that prevents what is essentail identify theif on a social-site. Am I getting warm?
So, is this what has happened to our friend Divide? Did you, Divide, pose as someone's account/IP address and get banned for that or was it just the Off Topic Discussion (OTD) that got you in trouble?
Trying to get the bottom of this mystery,

the puppet tracker searches accounts and sorts them based on same password, registration and last post IP address, and users who have ever posted from the same IP as the user being checked. it also tells whether or not the user is using a proxy to access the site.
puppet accounts are separate accounts set up by someone who already has an account and normally used as a way of bypassing a ban or trolling other members; having the same password doesn't normally indicate a puppet account, though, unless the user in question also shares the same IP. i have seen accounts banned for the sole reason of having the same password as another user though, which i find ridiculous. but like i said, it's not perfect, especially when an inexperienced moderator is using it and doesn't really understand what they are looking for; the information it gives is limited to moderators. users are only allowed one account, which is can be used to post in whichever forum they choose; and one grow account, which can be used in the cultivation forums only and must be registered with the administration to keep from being banned. if other accounts are made, said account will be banned. depending on the moderator who takes action, a warning may be sent to the main account telling the user that it is not allowed to have more than one account, and the main account can also be banned if the moderator so chooses; this normally happens if they've been warned in the past for the same offense.
hopefully that clears some things up.

No I didn't do anything wrong to get banned.
I was simply being questioned about who I was. We share the same computer, take turns. In other words I sign out he signs in. pain in the ass really. If you can imagine.

How dare you insult my intelligence Divide, I thought we were buddies! Besides, how can you tell i'm being sacratic? This is the internet, not a spoken conversation! Its just words, how can they be sarcastic in tone? You know what, I don't care why you got banned. Actaully, I'm glad you got banned, because your a mean person!

Finally, to Acidic_Sloth: Thanks for the "Puppet Program" explaination! The whole Puppet thing makes a lot more logic after reading your explaination. Pretty interesting to hear about how the Shroomery works "behind the curtians". Its like looking around the curtian to see whos running the site, naked in their chair, watching porn online.

I don't know how anyone can take THC seriously. He's obviously playing dumb. Anyway, they may ban you just because they suspect you're a puppet, or if you piss off OTD by not taking them seriously they may pretend they think you're a puppet and ban you. But it's nice to know I'm not the only one it's happened to.
As for the "puppet checker", that will only work for shitty public proxies. With a good proxy there is no way for them to know it's a proxy and thus no way for them to know the person has a puppet. Even knowing this I still don't create puppets and I never would but they banned me anyway.
