a lot of people get banned for stupid reasons and it has nothing to do with Ythan. you got banned for seeming like a puppet, so you must have been doing something wrong. instead of bitching about it here and making unfounded accusations about someone who is quite awesome and works his ass off to keep these sites up and running, you could have filed a support ticket and had your ban overturned. instead, you're being a butthurt whiny bitch.

the reason they thought you were a puppet of nicechrisman is because you were posting from the same IP address; obviously that's because you're in a relationship and therefore have access to the same computer. the puppet tracker isn't perfect, especially when you factor in human error. it happens a lot, especially with couples who live together.

the puppet tracker searches accounts and sorts them based on same password, registration and last post IP address, and users who have ever posted from the same IP as the user being checked. it also tells whether or not the user is using a proxy to access the site.
puppet accounts are separate accounts set up by someone who already has an account and normally used as a way of bypassing a ban or trolling other members; having the same password doesn't normally indicate a puppet account, though, unless the user in question also shares the same IP. i have seen accounts banned for the sole reason of having the same password as another user though, which i find ridiculous. but like i said, it's not perfect, especially when an inexperienced moderator is using it and doesn't really understand what they are looking for; the information it gives is limited to moderators. users are only allowed one account, which is can be used to post in whichever forum they choose; and one grow account, which can be used in the cultivation forums only and must be registered with the administration to keep from being banned. if other accounts are made, said account will be banned. depending on the moderator who takes action, a warning may be sent to the main account telling the user that it is not allowed to have more than one account, and the main account can also be banned if the moderator so chooses; this normally happens if they've been warned in the past for the same offense.
