Ethylene is used to make feminized seeds. Maybe thats how this got started :shrug:

There are a few products on the market. From what I read gibberellic acid is the most unsafe. Actually in the HT in my avatar there is an article about seeds by Jorge Cervantes. He spends a couple of paragraphs explaining it. If I had a scanner I would post it.
