down the foggy ruins of time, far past the frozen leaves,
the haunted frightened trees, out to the windy beach,
far from the twisted reach, of crazy sorrow.
yes the dance, beneath the diamond sky, with one hand waving free,
silhouetted by the sea, circled by the circus sands,
with all memory and fate, driven deep beneath the waves,
let me forget about today, until tomorrow."~bob dylan

most people say 6400k or so is good for veg because it supposedly produces smaller internode spacing, and that 2700k is good for flowering. i havent tested it but thats what i've heard. i've vegged under both but never flowered under anything but hps.

okay so i found the correct info with a little extensive research lol 6,500k for vegging [blue shifted] 2,700k for flower [red shifted]
now the good count of lumens is 2,500-3,000 BUT is that correct for both veg and flower?
lumens is the measurement of the density of light, summer light may be denser than fall light MAYBE [idk somewhere i read the sun makes 5,000 all year round and penetrates through canopies regardless]
so what lumens count do we want in veg and what lumens count for flower? if it matters at all.

The sun produces 1367 Watts of energy per square meter on contact at the edge of our atmosphere. After atmospheric filtering, scatter (both rayleigh and mie) and diffusement you'll receive anywhere from 300W/m2 and 500w/m2 at the ground surface, depending on altitude
