 Suggestion regarding The Thunderdome.

The Thunderdome should be its own forum (rather than a subforum) with its own set of moderators. No offense but none of the TSL mods are TD mod material. The current mods are far too sensitive and biased to be allowed to moderate a forum of this nature.

that's what i told him. if this place wasn't so gay, i'd probably be around more. i realise that this site is still in it's infancy and that's where a lot of the gayness stems from, but i really do prefer the Shroomery.
someone let me know when this place starts to get cool and i'll be around more.

Less moderation would be great. However as it stands The Thunderdome is moderated by a handful of TSL mods who are extremely biased with the exception of lt. dan and stein. By making the dome its own forum and assigning specific mods to it I think that it would run much more smoothly and bring in more traffic.

I agree to an extent. But unless we start hanging out here more often, things will be stagnant. When you get bored over at the shroomery or your favorite boards aren't very active, slide over here. Thats what I do.

The Thunderdome is pretty simple, and shouldn't require any active moderation. You can be as big of an asshole as you like in there, but as you know from your ban, we will discipline accounts that violate the personal privacy of other members. Privacy should be taken seriously on a site like this, and this is definitely a line that's clearly been drawn.

i've been at the Shroomery for just under 7 years now and i have yet to get bored. if the Shroomery is slow, i go read a book. i do check in here from time to time, but i find it lacking in a way that i cannot describe and don't stick around long because of it. maybe if i were a moderator it would give me more of a reason to be around more and give this place a bit more of a chance, but we will probably never know. heh.
