quite so, I'm inspired to try some autoflowers-- KaptKid, my white satin seeds popped up this morning so keep up the good work. I'll enjoy watching how it turns out. I'm wondering now, have you found the Mandala plants to be easy cloners?

The grow over all.
The White Widow, its about 2 ft tall. Will trim all plants down after I have clones.
A sad pic. Just after clones were taken. Almost didn't take it.
Hopefuly a happyer pic to follow.
That EzCloner cost some change. The 1st problem I can see is water temp. Will go by a water chiller at Lowes tommow. I will be sure to take pics of the prosess.
Now to relax and smoke some hash.

I think clones almost always look a little sad after they undergo the trauma of being cut/dipped and inserted into whatever scheme the grower has on hand. They always wilt a bit. never fear. Just keep your humidity up in the clone-zone and you will be A-OK... after a day or two they will come back
nice work!

Dr. P , Got more plants than I know what to do with. Will grow what I can.
Today the Ak47 X Blueberry (auto) has seen light for 60 days.
Next darkness for a few weeks.
Same plant as above but with leaves gone.
A close up
Group Shot
Another close up
I know a lot of leave was left on. Its just so sticky and sweet looking.
Sorry no scales. So no weight.
Will tell you how it smokes in time. Will dry out a little bud and test it out.

I read 2 weeks. This is my 1st time to try curing. Should be some info around here. If you do find anything PM me.

The clones are looking better.
Water temp had been at 90f. Way to hot. Part of the temp problem is my location and the heat from the pump.
My cure is to mod a water chiller.
The top off
The back with top off
A closer shot of the back
The SS bowl after insulation has been removed
The SS blow and the shelf removed.
The SS bowl looked as if it would not come out but with a little effort it will come out . Be careful.
Have the coils submerged in water
Have a 150 gph pump circulating water from the cloner to the ice chest and back to the cloner thur 20 ft of hose. Will add 40 ft more soon.
I didn't want to put to many holes(two for the pump) in the cloner is why I didn't put the coils right in the cloner. Plus that would of been a real bitch with out adding copper tubing. If the coils are put into cloner they will have to be covered in that stuff you put on tool handles. To stop copper poisoning.
In 5 or 6 hours the temp has dropped from 90f to 78f. Need to maintain 70f for best growth. So far so good.
If this works and at the moment it is. You should see what I have in mind for my 70 gal hydro reservoir to go into use in Sept.
I would like to thank those people who shared this idea so we all may learn and grow.

yeah, thanks Kapt. for being inspirational and showing us how to recycle used machinery. I think that shit is so cool (pun intended)

Dr P. Will write up a DIY when I get something that works. After about 60 hours it started shutting itself off from over heating. This was a new unit. Was trying to cool 10 gal's. Even tried putting ice in to help. This would work good for maybe 3 gal's or less. I don't look at this as a waste of time but a learning curve. Next will be a refegerater. Not a small one either. Will have a 70 gal reservoir to cool some days and heat others. This place I live.
For this time round I'm hauling ice to help cool the clones. This is a pain in the ass.
Day 77 Week 11 The Clones
Have been having heat problems with clone water. Up to 90f at times. Now have temp in the mid 70's(76). 7 days No sign of roots, yet ph 6.1
Will give the clones 7 days more if no roots, then 12/12 Its 87f out side @ 1pm
The Over All Grow
Looks lonely with the auto plants gone

Garden looks awesome!! I notice all the autoflowers are gone hope they were/are well enjoyed.
So one alternative to icing a cooling reservoir with straight ice might be to keep an arsenal of 16oz water bottles frozen and just cycle them as they thaw. That way you can put a frozen one in as you take a thawed one out of the res and put it back in the freezer etc...
I'm just brainstorming with you here I've never had to cool a res before.
if the watercooler is going into safety shut-down then why?? sure it's overheated but why? isn't the point of the chiller to chill water? if it only chills 3 gal at a time down to like 40 F and you add that to 7 gal of 90F water then the temp of the res will still come down right?? maybe it needs some airflow for proper cooling or something but really I think the fridge idea is a better one-- I have two spare mini-fridges and would gladly give you one. It's probably a better bet than the cooler, I've seen someone drill a hole through the sides of a fridge for a beer tap so I know it can work out well.
what's the optimum temp for your clone res??
