for the broth:
1 porkchop bone (leave some meat on it!! just a little not a hunk or anything) 1 strip of pork fat from pork chop 3"s long or about that. (trim fat from your chops foo save the extra and eat a healthier chop while dying of congested heart failure eating this soup) 1 large pot
1/2 of a spanish onion 1/2 green pepper
1 1/2 tbspn curry powder 2 tbspn minced garlic 5 heavy dashes of adobo (bid badia bottle) 2 good dashes of chili powder 1 tsp cayenne pepper 1/3c grinded ganja, earthy flavored strains (not fruity for instance) 2 heavy dashes oregano (badia bottle) 1 pinch of thyme 2 pinch of rosemary 2 dashes of seasoned salt (...TO TASTE PREFERENCE) 2 dashes of normal salt (TO TASTE PEFERENCE...) 2 heavy dash of black pepper
step one!
boil bone & fat strips in large pot of water & also 2 dashes of salt into the water for several hours until the liquid turns an off yellow color. This means the stock/broth is ready to add spices and the fat is dispersed into liquid form.
step two!
Remove from heat for a moment and add ganja @ a moderate rate while stirring after the rolling boil subsides which should be almost instantaneous of lifting from the heat source.
Then add all the spices and vegetables. i like to cut the vegetables largely.
Boil for another 15-20 minutes & then set off to the side to cool off.. set in freezer for 3-5 hours to allow it to chill completely.
Reheat, Cook the pork chops in a skillet w/ a little bit of crisco oil and season salt on both sides. Make the chop nice and orange on both sides. Serve over rice w/ the pork chops cut into little strips or chunks. Enjoy!
edit:
to idiot proof, remove bone & fat strips when adding spices.
Would be good to add red potatoes w/ skin on, cubed or triangles or whatever to the recipe and also whole okra w/ tops and tips cut off or in place of okra, use green beans for other additions veggies.
This is also good to use for red beans. To change to red beans, do not chill the broth, set off to the side to cool completely. Add 1/2 pkg of red beans let soak for 24hrs & then reheat and cook w/ lid on 3.5 - 4.5 heat (med low) and simmer/boil for 3-5 hours or until beans are cooked.
