im currently 3 weeks into budding, it seems like some of the buds/leaves on the bottom of the plant are drooping and not budding well. should i cut these off to allow the rest of the plant to bud better?

I have heard it argued both ways, I usually cut of the really low buds that have fewer that 3/4 calyxs. Depends on how much you like your hash.

It also depends on how much stress your plants may be in. If they are stressed already, cutting limbs off is not the best idea. I only remove limbs that have yellowing leaves or spindly growth. If you are going to do it, now is the time.

ya, next time do all your pruning before flowering is induced....most 215 growers i know cease any and all hacking 1 month before inducing it to flower, but i practice 2 weeks.

Yeah it should really be done before flowering is induced. I agree.

Just leave it, it is more likely to stress the plant than help it grow.

I think it's better to trim off branches that will obviously not produce anything worthwhile. It helps the plant focus it's energy on more efficient bud sites.

Probably better to do it before flowering, but as long as you don't do anything drastic and cut a lot of branches off, I don't see it being much of a problem during flowering either.
