a couple of questions on cloning

1. Do you have to take cuttings from the top of the plant?
2. How important is having a dome? What do you think my success rate would be if i misted them and had no dome?
3. When the time comes to clone I plan on using peat pellets and then transplanting straight to the last (biggest) pot. Does that sound like a good plan? If I can't find them how would cutting them (dipping in root take stuff) and then putting them straight in soil be? I plan to use some kind of fox farm, hopefully ocean forest if the place has it. I only know of one gardening place here and I haven't checked yet.
one more just random question. I see people have slim to none branches on the lower plant for more air flow. Is that done just by simply cutting them off?

1. You can, but lower branches are better.
2. High humidity is very important. Use a dome. They are cheap enough.
3. Take cutting, dip in rooting hormone, and then use jiffy cubes or rockwool. Why wouldn't you do this?
4. Yes, just cut them off. This is done to allow airflow under the canopy and because the lower branches often do not receive much light.
