Question about cardboard growbox

Hey all,
I'm a noob and this is my first growery post though I'm a regular over at the shroomery. I'm wondering if taking a 3 foot by 2 foot cardboard box and putting a 10 watt fluorescent light in the box with six seedlings would be a fire hazard.
Thanks!

youd probably be chill, but are you going to go through the plants life cycle in the box? if yes, then your going to want a lot more light

I'm just going to be vegetating in there. I know the light is rather low but I'm honestly more concerned about the fire hazard part of it.
Do you guys think introducing aluminium foil would help?

i dont really think it would start a fire, ive put brown bags over incandescent s AND florescent s with no fire (for mood lighting - id read somewhere online that it wouldnt catch fire). you need more light! thats for sure. a lot moar. and youre better off painting the inside a flat white because foil reflects light poorly.

Bad idea. Do not put a heat source inside a flammable container. If you are budget minded, try a rubbermaid tub; still not fire proof, but much better than cardboard.

Thanks I thought it a bad idea for this reason specifically. My partner in crime (well it's actually not a crime here ) thought it'd be no problem but I had a bad feeling about it.
A rubbermaid tub is exactly along the lines of what I was thinking but I'm still wondering if it would be safe. Has anyone heard of someone using a ghetto vegetation chamber like this one and had it catch on fire?

If you used a tub if any thing did happen you could probably get to it before it turned out two bad it would just melt first. The best thing that I think you should do is go by two pieces of plywood and a couple of 2x4's and make a box to put everything in. Think about it you are going to need something to contain them through the whole grow process no matter what the box would be good from the beginning to end maybe I will post a pic tomorrow of it.

Did I read that right a 10 watt light. Not trying to be a asshole here but I've been under the lights since 1985 and if it is only a 10 watt light you are just wasting your time.

Is 80 watts combined of fluorescent light enough to give a decent chance of success?

I'm quite noobish and apologise if I'm asking really dumb questions as this is my first indoor grow. I'm growing blueberry, which is an 80% indica strain and I'm trying to do this inside a large box as I have limited space/budget.
Man, I miss growing outdoors. Any idiot can do that!

Update on my ghetto cardboard box grow. I've learned a lot since my first post here and i'm using a series of CFL lights (5 at 100w each) for 3 plants (the others turned out to be males ). They're flowering up nicely although I suspect I may have a hermie in there.
