Well, I have a bunch of seeds I'd like to plant of mostly San Pedro. I have heard they can grow two feet a year, so should I expect my sprouts to reach nearly 2 feet in a year or do they at first grow a lot slower?
and is the 2 feet a year thing an "average" speed or growth, or is it at the very best?
lol they don't grow 2' a year from seed, if ever. if you can get them to 2" or 3" tall in the first year that would be pretty normal. it will take like 2 or 3 years for them to really get going. when they are big mature plants, then you can expect some very rapid growth, depending on your climate of course. 12" - 18" of growth per season is a more realistic best case scenario.
