depends. do you have self-control? do you plan on doing them everyday? I mean the likelihood of addiction depends a lot on the type of person you are, more so than the drug. once addicted though withdrawals can be severely unpleasant but if you make sure you don't get to that point then you're fine.

The addiction is less than using an opiate from the pharmacy or a heroin dealer in my opinion, but keep in mind all it is are a bunch of different opioids in a pod.

yeah that leads to some nasty withdrawals if you do get addicted. multiple opiate/opiate addiction.
pods are lovely tho man...i fuckin love them. i am about to run to the bank to deposit some cash so i can order some myself. i always go for the jumbo sized ones.
all i do is break off all of the nodules and stems and put them in a ziplock. i dump all my seeds into a jar and then smash up the pod head in my hands and put the smashed up pieces into a new ziplock. whenever i make a cup i put these smashed up pieces in my coffee bean grinder and powder them. with me it takes half cup to a cup of jumbos for a good buzz (ive got a tolerance tho). all depends on your pods tho....they usually vary in potency. after i get my powder in a cup i boil some water and then pour the powder into the hot water off the burner. i stir that for awhile and let sit for awhile until it has a certain look to it...usually about 10-20min.
after that i pour the water and pod grounds into my coffee press and totally seperate the water/goodies from the grounds. pour that filtered pod water into a glass and get it down the best i can. i try and finish all i have within 30min.

the nodules and stems can be used for the tea as well, but the stems do not have very much in them usually.
i ordered 100 mediums once and used every stem from that for one glass of tea and it barely had an effect anyways. the nodules are good, but they are small so you dont get a lot from them.
save the seeds for planting or baking if you want.
