When to put my seedlings under light?

I just planted my two seedlings in some small 1 cubic inch planters, do I put them under light right away or after they sprout up out of the soil? thanks

I am using Light Warrior soil and I have a 40w CFL over my two plants, the seeds are unknown, my friend gave them to me.
