I have basically no experience in this at all but im willing to try anything once i wanna know how hard it is, is it actually possible to just spread seeds and get plants help needed any suggestions?
Yes, but your success rate would blow. To be semi successful you would need to start indoors, and then transplant when ready. You would still need to tend to them for decent results. I guess if you just wanted to plant to see what would happen you could start indoors, and then plant them outside and see what comes in the fall.
I'm not an outdoor grower, but I do know what I said above is for the most part true.
your use of "in the woods" makes me imagine one spreading seeds, quite literally, in the woods. if this is the case, there is not nearly enough light penetration through the canopy. you're better of "in a field." you will get nothing in the woods.

It is a species of intemperance within itself, for it goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation, and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. A Prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded." - Abraham Lincoln
