ok. so letting a hermie just do "its" thing, will result in seeds, that are basically the same as any other fuckin seed?

Quote:
Hermaphrodite pollen is used on non-herm females to produce feminised seeds.
Ideally, the hermaphrodite should be a female that is very resistant to producing male flowers (and must be induced to do so), in order that the a strong herm tendency is not passed on.
Naturally occurring hermaphrodites pollinating themselves or another herm would produce seeds that were almost certain to tuen hermaphrodite.
Generally favourable conditions may slightly boost the ratio of females. Warm (but not hot) general temperatures, cool soil temps, bright light, plenty of moisture and humidity (but not a saturated growing medium) during germination and vegetation may all influence a grower's number of females.
In Switzerland, where they were (briefly) able to grow large fields of psychoactive cannabis, they noticed that when Spring was warm, bright and moist, the result was a slight increase in the ratio of females.
This worked out to a few dozen extra females per thousand plants, but in the few years that such large scale grows were possible, the trend was consistent.

i think it depends on how the plant became a hermie? in one of soma's books he talks about feminizing seeds by letting them flower for an extra week or so (causing them to sprout male flowers)
i dunno..
i do know that we got seeds out of some very nice bud that all ended up being female. and it didn't seem like the seeds were there because of a male pollenating the plant

Soma is a great grower, but his female seeds are garbage. He lets them go to seed by letting them grow past flower; he says its more natural. Plants that do this are much more prone to go hermie than plants that are stress tested and chemically forced to turn male. To each their own I guess.

so this hermie started turning hermie a few weeks after it was a she.
i think she was flowering for about 3 weeks b4 first sacs
just planting its seeds will most likely result in hermies?
if i plant the hermies seeds for a male plant, and then breed him with a female (of same or different genes) next year i should be golden? or does it have to be one of my NOW HERMIE's seeds that grows ALSO HERMIE bred with a fem?

If you have no other pollen or a source of it then use it I guess. Myself I'd go without before using pollen from a hermie plant.
