Depends, what methods are you using now?

if you can turn all the buds in a mason jar a 1/4 turn congrats its a great idea
cedar boxes w/ multi levels of a tray, then below the trays holes in the board = good also for curing. mason jars are fun because you can look at it when you wanna w/o opening the box

the drying by hanging varies do it until your stems snap even if they dont curing is fine as long as u air the jars out and move the buds around
the jars should be open for at least 15minutes I usually leave them open for a tv show or something
I don't know what you mean by giving your buds a quarter turn? They should be redistributed so they dry/cure evenly.

I usually fill my quart jars about 1/3 full and just roll the buds over by tumbling them.
If I needd to free up room I'll combine them when they're on their way to being cured (1-2weeks in?)

dry on racks or w.e till stems snap
then the first 3-4 weeks of curing u should air out the buds but longer won't hurt or necessarily help.
it's so the buds don't mold and by week 3 of curing they should be pretty dried out and cured... after thats its just additional curing and storage.

If you are looking for a different way to cure, water curing is an option. I'm not up to date on the specifics, but it involves layering the bud into a water tight container with a a drain on the bottom (cooler). You then gently fill the tub with water and let it sit for one day, drain and repeat for a week I believe. After that, you will be left with weed that has very little smell, taste, or bag appeal, but very potent and exceedingly smooth smoking. I have heard it will remove most molds as well so thats always a plus.

it's only more potent because of the plant material lost and it does remove molds.
how I water cured... I did 7-9 days and I just used warm (nearly hot to touch) water in a bucket threw some buds in and put a dinner plate ontop of the whole mess to submerge them. I changed the water a bit more than everyday.
the buds also dry out very fast once a lot of the nasties are leached out by warm water cure :O

No heat involved. Just nice cool water.

if the water isn't like boiling it wont hurt your weed
near hot to touch would be warm.
it's supposed to leach the tars and chlorophyll more.
