why? living by yourself sucks sometimes. Spending 5 consecutive days without human contact while completing a major project did weird things to my mental health.

Then you'll be fine. I was just in a weird situation at the time that didn't work out. I was overloaded with school work, all my friends were a good 2+ miles away, and I had neighbors so bitchy they didn't even like when I played music.
Made my head feel weird.

lol, fuck you.
When you only have a half hour of free time between projects 2-3 miles is too far.
I promise I had a farther commute to high school back in the day than any of you fuckers.

HAHA, extra credit? Is this middle school?
No sir, I'm in college, which is a real school. In addition, I've got a very difficult and time consuming major. my regular homework takes up 10 hours a day, after classes of course, and THEN I get to work 30 hours a week.
Extra credit....

I should have clarified that I meant by time rather than distance, but you crowded Californians have probably got me beat there too.
I had 35 miles of curvy mountain roads with a speed limit of 25.

20 credits this semester, plus majoring in a research field of a difficult science (I'd rather not disclose... pretty specialized field at my school).
It's the field research that really takes the time. organizing my notes and writing a coherent, persuasive report on my data can really be consuming.

It actually is kinda cool up there... we used to pack bowls and drive around all day in high school... with all the curves even if you came upon a cop he could only see you for 5 seconds so we never got pulled over. Sad part was the 45 minute drive to get anywhere
