 EZ-Clone test.

Decided to test a easy to do method that I liked. Tested something called a EZ-Clone. (Now go to the ez-clone site you guys can build this thing for very cheap with hardware store stuff but I'm lazy and I'll hand over a buck for molded parts but it is over priced).
To do this just take the cutting, dip in gel, put in the center of the foam and insert. Fill with water turn on and done.
Well this is one week later.
 
A very simple idea that seems to work pretty well. Water was just plain tap that wasn't even ph adjusted. No domes or misting is needed. Costs to much but it gets the full 4 stars or two thumbs up. 
(you can make your own version in about 30 to 45 min  )

i have a question, when using aerocloners is it 100% necessary to use cloning gel or powder ?
i ask this because im making the DIY ez cloner and where i live i cant get rooting gel , just powder

on that system there, what are the little red knobs called? misters? i see the purpose would be to make the tub 100% humidity misting hormone nutrient or nutrient in general on the new clones. . .
wondering what i can attach to a submersible pump to mist roots in a similar fashion.

would cloning powder have similar results ?
PS: most cloning gels i find that actually ship to my country are over 100 bux , plz send a link to the 5 buck one

Um, I see cloning gel at home depot and hydroshops for 5-10$ all the time.
I don't shop online for grow schwagger.

how do you remove the clones w/o damaging the roots? are they in little foam blocks?

they come in a foam disc that has like a slice in it and in the center of that is a hole for the stem i think its a one size fits all deal.
