I've had some seedlings for about a week that are around 6 inches tall. They're growing in those jiffy expandable pellets, and I was just wondering if I should put them in 16oz cups for now? They have 4 pointy leaves (forgive me, I don't know the technical name), 2 of which are barely a millimeter long as of now. Thanks for any answers that I'm given.
I like to transplant when I see roots coming out of the bottom of the puck. 6" is incredibly tall for a week old seedling. You are going to have to give them more light as I believe the stretching is due to a lack of light. When you transplant, bury the plants up too the first set of leaves (cotyledons) in order to combat the stretch.
