thats too much money for me...and too much schooling.
i think i read somewhere that 2 years of chemistry youd have enough knowledge to synth mdma.
so im guessing youd need at least four for lsd.

Yea, its all about the precursors. I've taken two years of college level chem (basic and organic) and have all the knowledge to synth anything from MDMA to LSD but I will never see ergotamine (LSD precursor) so it's a moot point.

Ergot comes from rye, yes, but to grow enough of it to get the required amount of ergotamine (without the proper cultivar) is silly. Nothing stops me from a MDMA syth... or any synth for that matter, you can make most of the precursors if need be, except time and energy. I very rarely do anything that isn't weed, or shrooms so no need to make them. I am working on a micro scale meth project though. I have always wanted to try it but am way to sketched out by street dealers. Nice clean meth is considered one of the best drugs in the world by some...

why would you reduce their taxes evenly by dollar amount

Well it depends... You could do it the standard easy way with a precursor called MDA which is a controlled substance. Or if need be You could use safrole which is a schedule 1 precursor (watched and hard to get) or you could use sassafras oil (not watched but getting large quantities would be hard). You could even use sassafras bark (waste of time). Its not about just having the knowledge, its about having the desire to go through all the necessary steps.

if i vote i'm voting for a libertarian candidate, not sure yet. i'm tired of the two party system and i hope if other people think like me they'll realize they don't just have to pick between just two people... either way mccain is gonna win my state.

technically, yes one of those will win, but:
mccain is the republican nominee, obama is the democratic nominee. these are the strongest parties with the most supporters in the US. there are other parties... Libertarian Party  , Green Party, Constitution Party, many more... they all elect one person to represent them on the ballots. Also, Third Party and Independents can run like Ralph Nader. In some states you can even write in Ron Paul, others you can't.
So technically you have the choice between many different people, beliefs, ideas, etc. Not just two.

its just because the emphasis the news and such put on mccain and obama, it leads you to believe those are the only two candidates left to vote for.
