Yeah it looks good Can't properly judge till it comes out though. Hopefully it'll be better than that mess X-Men 3 was and the Origins: Wolverine one

Wow. I didn't even know it was coming. I love the X-Men. Been a fan since a little kid.

My expectations are low though
Yeah I've been a huge fan since I was a kid too. I'm in a love/hate relationship with Hollywood when it comes to super hero flicks. Some are done pretty damn well and some are just complete garbage.

I don't have any expectations of Schindler's List filmography. I did not agree with all of the movie adaptations of the X-men so far, but I really get excited for the opportunity to see some version of my heroes in action. Was same way about the GI Joe movie. I loved it because they tried to use some of my favorite characters, not necessarily because of how faithful they were to details or the quality of it.

That's the exact same opinion I have on those movies. I saw G.I. Joe with same outlook on it. I was just happy to see Snake Eyes whoop some ass in a live action movie. I do believe they did a good job with most of the X-Men characters though. Especially Mystique From what I remember, I had a major issue with how Juggernaut was portrayed That was just ridiculous.
They have to do a series of movies that have Mister Sinister and Apocalypse as the central villains. Instead of continuing to focus on the duality between Magneto and Professor X. I honestly have never viewed Magneto as a bad guy, more of an anti-hero if anything.

So they decided to go backwards instead of forwards again. I've gotten far beyond annoyed with this trend of prequels. Most times I'll refuse to see them even if the trailers look good. Looks like every time a movie franchise reaches its peak they either do one of two things, they make a remake, or they make a prequel. At least the teasers I saw for Thor and Captain America looked cool. Can't wait for the Avengers to come out. These new comic book movies are starting to become more popular than the comic books they're based on. Hopefully they won't butcher Dead Pool. Personally I'm hoping for a Blade like ultra violent R Rating for that one.

I wouldn't mind seeing an animated feature length or miniseries of The Age of Apocalypse.

See, that term pedo gets thrown around a lot.
Is a 16 year old guy having sex w/a 16 year old girl a pedophile?
If not, then how is a 30 year old considered a pedophile for doing the same thing?
I think y'all need to look up the definition for pedophile.

Yeah me either, they were actually going to do that story arch. With the new X-men show (Wolverine and The X-men) but it was canceled after the first season last year.
