 Looking for genetics?

So what im doing now is looking for genetics. I have found so far a few good types of regs with few seeds in each bags. So I have two strains with about 6 seeds of each. Im looking for some better seeds, and I know if grown sensimilla the weed would be better. If I were to clone a few types of mothers of some seeds, do you think itd be possible to find maybe some thatl be purple? Or a good strain that just looked like good regs when it was pollinated? Is it possible to find very good genetics if going through strains with bagseeds and choosing by the look/taste/etc of flowered clones?
