you need to build a marketplace. then click the circle that says "look for" then in the drop down select what you want ie "marble" then click "update offers"
that will show all offers avaialble to purchase marble
the more you upgrade your marketplace the further islands you can trade with

Yeah trading post.
take a screen shot and post up that you are searching properly. the layout can be confusing.
worst case scenario, build an army and go fight some new town on a marble island.
I would send you some but thats my most needed resource right now, and sending you guys stuff ties up my ships for 28-34 hours at a time

you dont offer anything. thats why I think you might be doing it wrong. you do it in the smaller box at the top.
fill in the circle
but when you update offers it will show everyone who is selling that product and it will list what price they are selling it for and how far away they are.
there is a good chance you need to upgrade your trading post to expand your range

really i NEED marble, if i can get my trading post built up i might be able to actually buy some that way
but i need 31 more marble before i can do that
