I dont think its too late, another guy took clones after the harvest so, whateva. give it a shot from some of the lower brances

you should experiment so we can get a definate.
i think rule of thumb is about 2 weeks into, but ive never taken clones later than 2 weeks sooooo

You should be fine, its just that when the plant is further into bud production, taking clones is more difficult because the hormone levels in the plant are not so conducive to more vegetative growth and producing roots, so it will take more time for the clone to revert back to vegging and produce roots. You'll have to be careful to make sure you keep the leaves healthy with the misting and some nutrients and everything like that.

Clones can be taken at any time, it just takes longer for them to revert to veg the longer they've been in flower.
