Ive taken four clones now I'm just wondering how I'm going to keep them dormant for the winter inside. i have them in a clay pot with peat for root growth and added root hormone on th stem. Put them in with my mushrooms for right now since its 91 percent humid looks like there doing good.
There next to the window do you think that they will be okay inside for the winter so i know i will have at least 4 female plants next year. how should i go about this(possibly with out a lamp)

Without a lamp threw the winter. Can't be done. You need to keep at least 18 hrs of light on them.
Going by the size of the buds in the last pic and how done they are you have at the very least 6 weeks.
I've done clones in mushroom chambers many times that should work for ya.
Next time start them a little earlier and you'll get

6 weeks shit that gives me the end of October, hopefully its not to cold by than, someone did tell me how ever top44 can withstand cold temps at night and even light frost.
the hairs on it are turning a brownish colour already? i think this is the furthest ive gotten with growing some bud!
And with the light can it be a regular CFL? and what wattage(100watts)
what type of plants are those? i was looking some more and found thats the flowering time 6 weeks its been about 2 since they started to bud up so another 4 and they are ready? around that time that will bring me to some time in october. in other words im going to leave em outside untill it starts to frezze or when ever there done.

Well if ya end up going cfl (man I just hate those things) I'd use at least 200 watts. I'd use at least 200 watts.
The plants in the pic are Sweet 16 a strain I bread myself. The strain is a Mikado x Sweet Tooth then crossed into a DJ Short Blueberry. The strain is being refined now. Purple Kush and Granddaddy are being added to it.

wow i bet youve been working on that strain for awhile now! it looks like il be getting 1 or 2 seeds from these plants when i spinkles a small amount of poolin from my male top 44 so i should just have another top 44 right? maybe one that even better for my climate than these are!thats what im hoping for at least.
Im thinking about getting a pack of durban posin for next year and crossing it with a female top44 to make my own strain. it seems like these are actually going to give me quit a bit of bud more than i expected if they actually get to fully mature which it looks like in at least a cuple mre weeks ill have to post some pics up later so you guys can see.

He he he.....well that is where you start. The making your own strain comes when you've done the work to stablize the strain. That way you know what your strain is going to do.
Took me 8 years to pin down Sweet 16. I developed it for SOG grows. I wanted a strain that grows like a baseball bat with little branching.
Tell me think I pulled it off?

 holy F man haha thats bad ass haha. it took 8 years i got mad respect! i guess I'm only starting out for 3 years.
How did you stabilize it? or even better do you have any good links about doing this? I'm going to have to research.
are those grown hydro? i see black pots but no hydro setup?
heres an update a few more pics to come the sun is still to low this morning to get a decent shot. you can see the dew on it still a good sign to see no frost yet!

I'm going to have to buy that book it will help alot in the future!
I still cant believe how those look covered white with THC, and all one solid bud. i think you got a nice one there Magash.
the anticipation is building now i went out today and checked em out the two bigger plants have a little bit longer to go but are coming along fast and nice! the one that was a hermi is almost ready give it another week or two id say. tell me what you guys think.
These three pics are of the hermi but turned into female after i picked all the male flowers off. Ive seen a one seed pod on the entire plant!
This one is the biggest out ov'em all id say about 4 foot or more. not as short and bushy as the other one but still looks like the buds are going to pack a punch!
the next three are the one that i think looks the best and is covered in white hairs at every bud site! one seed pod on this plant Ive found to.
notice some of the fan leaves are turning purple do to low temps at night!

i just ordered both of his books the cannabis breeders bible and the grow bible, some said that the are no good with the infromation being to old and unuseful but if thats true ill find out its not going to hit besides learning more that i dont know.
The buds are looking nice i looked at them today and the one(hermi) is looking real nice covered in thc! actually they all are but that one more so! try to get some pics up soon

its too early for pics ill get some after work, i noticed theres a hole in the main stem, i think its a worm thats making its home in there i sprayed some organic tomato and veggie bug killer it said you could spray and harvest same day, so im guessing if you can spray it on a tomato plant and eat the tomato the same day it would be fine so try and kill this bug before it kills my plant.
this is what it contains Natural fast acting Pyrethins is this a safe product for my plants?
i dont have much time i have to be at work soon so will update with some pics when im finished there.

i think that the spray worked and the Caterpillar died but not sure i dont see any more plant matter nor anything but a hole. hopefully thats all that happens and the top doesnt dye. Im thinking its going to take a couple more weeks for it to finish budding its looking bad ass with thc all over.
My one smaller two top plant is close to harvest just going to let it ripen up more.
Just a nobe being to inpatient!

heres a few pics i took today the last one is where that damn caterpillar took action, i kinda fucked it up more to see if it was still in there. hopefully it doesnt ruin the plant!
well i got my books today im starting with the grow bible, WOW ive already learned so much! it makes me think i should move to a place and start to breed the "top berry" plant to make it a strain. these books are upto date and have very useful info in them! I now understand how effiecnt a 1000watt hps bulb really is you could easily make 6k growing a small setup but im not into making money i just want my own personal so i dont have to put up with dealers and there games, laced bags, and high prices! not only that ive found it to be a very relaxing hobby!

i was going to take pics but have lost my camera, the buds are looking very nice! they are turning purple cause its getting cold its suppose to get back up in the 70's next week they look like they could be done by than, it would be nice because than it gets cold here. i would be cutting a fine line if not!
