1. Manicure buds (leave in branch form)
2. Hang individual branches in dark (preferrably) room for 5-7 days until the stems snap instead of bend.
3. remove buds from branch put loosely into mason jars (for curing).
4. Open jars a few times a day to release moisture build-up (if you don't, moisture will ruin your buds by mold!)
5. Cure your buds for atleast a week, this will remove moisture and chlorophyll and make your buds taste cleaner and less plant-like. Trust me, it's well worth it!

drying in the dark isn't really needed, as long as you're not drying in the sun you'll be ok. The most important aspects of drying your buds are temperature and airflow. You want mid to high 70's as your optimal temps, and a nice circulatory fan moving air. Just don't aim the fan directly at the buds. Pay attention to your buds a lot during the first week of them being in the jar. It's best to take the buds out at least once a day and replace them in the jar to promote even drying/curing. As was said, opening the jars several times a day for 10 or so mins per open is essential to fighting cobweb. Nothing is shittier then coming down in the morning to find your harvest covered in cobweb mold.
