i don't think a spoon is more conservative than a bong. i think it depends on a lot more factors than what method you smoke out of.
for me a bong is more conservative. i get (at least feel) higher off less, at least for me and how i hit my bong. the bowl on my bong is pretty small, so i use less, i suck in all the smoke into the chamber and let hardly any escape. this means more smoke in my lungs, because when i hit a bowl i usually have a lot more smoke escape into the air without first going into my lungs. yes, water does filter some thc, but it allows me to take larger and more concentrated hits. this in my mind gets me the most stoned.
if you want to go all out, a 2 liter gravity bong hit has always gotten me the most stoned off the least weed. it kills your throat though. haven't done one since freshman year when i lived in the dorms.
i can't comment on vaporizers as i've never used a real one.

Instead, when people are home, I go into the bathroom, towel the door, toke, take a shower or make it look like you just took a big dump and light a match (to account for the burning smell) and then spray some Febreeze or whatever. Just don't forget to spray, and you can't really smoke fat bowls like that, but I used to just take baths with my bong (without toweling the door) and got away with it.
God I love living alone.

Toilet paper rolls and dryer sheets. Cram tube full of dryer sheets, and rubber band one around the end. Pack just enough so that you can pull it through and clear it in one lungful. I smoke in my room every single day, sometimes they even come in my room. A little Ozium goes a long way, too. 2 years strong and still working. Matter of fact I'm gonna take a snap right now.

I'd just get something like this dude.
You can take it anywhere, it saves green, and is cheap to replace.

i fucking hate solo trips. it's a mind fuck. I solo'd once knowing the girl I was seeing was coming home and just stared at the door the whole time shaking in fear for no reason.

Maybe you need to find a more comfortable set/setting?
Solo tripping just opens up the sealed containers that are lodged deep in your brain. Nothing to fear, unless you're afraid of your own mind.

i've done 2 solo trips in an attempt to face what's in my mind. It's too hard. I'm honestly not strong enough
