 using other plants to mask the smell?

i am going to assume that pot is the stinkiest plant.....BUT i need to ask anyway.
if i had a long box and only wanted a couple plants in it, and the rest of the box was free to grow other plants.....are there some VERY strong smelling plants (herbs?) that could at least help mask the smell? i am trying to avoid filters. i was thinking mint, but they dont smell too much until you brush against them or break them.
is this a stupid idea? or a possible one?

are you talking about indoor cultivation? I can't really think of too many plants that would mask the odor of cannabis. If you wanted to you could cultivate some stinkhorns in your house and deal with that smell

ozone gens are fine to put in your exhaust
I wouldn't want ozone in my grow area where I can breathe it.

If you know how to use an ozone generator properly, there's no real risk to the health of oneself or one's plants.

Also having plants growing near your exhaust like herbs wouldn't be a bad idea if there happens to be any smell. (carbon getting old or whatever)

I had a thread on this way back in the day, and people suggested rosemary, mint, and lavender, with emphasis on rosemary.

Funny you mention that. When I was just getting started on my first grow I tried rescuing some basil plants I found wilting at the store. Before I brought them home the smell of MJ was definitely present, after I placed them in my veg closet all I could smell was basil.

Ozone gens are very safe. If you are that worried then shut it off 30 minutes before entering your grow area. Ozone is unstable and will break down within 30 minutes.

The International Chemical Safety Card lists Ozone classifiable as a human carcinogen from levels of .06ppm on up.
