I subscribed to a couple forums yesterday (including WA&F) and have not received any emails. I checked my junk folder. . . Nada!
Hope this gets fixed as quickly as everything else seems to.
I can't wait to start getting my daily digests!

I clicked the box to monitor forum activity and all the bongs turned to mushrooms.
Then I went back and did it and it didn't happen.
Tried a third time and some bongs changed, some didn't.

The sponsors page is still haywire. It shows you as not logged in and has all shroomery info. If this is not supposed to be changed yet, nevermind.

Have I told you, Ythan, that I love you? In an only-kind-of-gay way, though.
I got my daily digests! The email address says it's from "The Growery" but the subject line still says "Shroomery daily digest: Website Announcements & Feedback" just like it says on the one I got from the Shroomery.
Now that they're getting mailed, let's change that subject line, huh?

Following the link from the Growery banner rotating on Shroomery.org, the formatting of the Growery index was all screwy (in ie7 and Safari, seems not to be a problem with FireFox).
Also, please make sure that adult avatars are turned OFF by default for new users.
There's a lot of nasty stuff floating around and I don't want that to be a noob's first impression!

I did this and now the page comes up blank. I had to use my browsing history to get here.

We don't have separate Growery sponsors yet so it's normal for the sponsors page to list the Shroomery ones. I fixed the problem where it shows you as not logged in though.
I also fixed the references to Shroomery in the digests.
Geo you just need to shift-reload on the main page to pull a new copy of the stylesheet.
And I verified that new users have adult avatars blocked by default.

Did you miss mine? I did the shift + reload thing and the page turned completely white.
When I close my browser it still will come up white.

Dill what browser are you using? It shouldn't show up blank... clear your cache maybe?

this is just a question, as i have noticed this on the shroomery too, but why does any number of spaces between words always get converted to a single space? Just wonderin

In IE7 go to Tools | Internet Options, click the 'Delete' button under 'Browsing History', then click the 'Delete Files' button by 'Temporary Internet Files'.
Multiple spaces get converted to single spaces because that's the default behavior in HTML. To get multiple spaces on a web page you must wrap them in <pre> tags (not an option on the BB since HTML is disabled) or use (this is the extended character code for a non-breaking space).
