People always ask on the shroomery does more nutrients equal more potency? With mushrooms the answer is no, it's all determined genetically. I'm pretty sure RR said the reason people always ask this question so much is because they've carried over the notion from botany that plants derive there potency depending on the nutrients given. I thought that was the case?
I may be wrong I'm still branching into botany from mycology.

It wasnt me, an old friend of mine a while back.

If you take schwag, keep growing and seeding it, selective breed it over time with other schwag, you'll probably get something awesome! Maybe even your own strain that kicks ass.
Anyways, it's not like taking bagseed then turning it into kush, of course genetics play a certain roll. But you can take bagseed from 2-5% THC up to 10 with proper growing tech. But you can also take 20% kush and grow it like shit and get 5-10% crap

I've heard that mj grown sensemilla is always more potent than seeded bud due to the plant not wasting energy on the production of seeds.
So in a sense hanky, yes you can polish a turd. Now of course this newly polished POS isn't gonna compete with top notch genetics but it will be improved, easy to smoke, and slightly more potent.
