So I biked 38.9 miles today
    #101868 - 08/03/08 08:18 PM (16 years, 3 months ago)

I didn't even plan to do this
I woke up early and was bored and didn't feel like sitting around the house all day
So I bottled up some water and took off (psssmmmm cyyyyaaaa)
Found a hidden trail by fort jackson -( is the largest and most active Initial Entry Training Center in the U.S. )
Open to the public, I had no idea it was a 16 mile trail from beginning to end .
I ran out of water before I made it to the end

I some how made it home without dehydrating
Fucking astounding :awesome:

And I found about a pound of chanterelles SUPER :awesome: !

without water or a cell phone I had to stress my body to the limit
In the long run, It made me stronger

thank god my grandma hooked me up with a couple darvocet :awesome:

I'm so sore all over
fuck me its thunderstorming now :crankey:

anybody else do something 'crazy today ?

Chanterelles?
ARE THOSE KANTARELLER mushrooms? I pick them in Sweden all the time, my grandparents and I love them.

And no, i did nothing crazy, my Texan aunt and uncle are here visiting though.

Good to see you had an adventure

i love biking, many trails to ride around here. unfortunately it's too hot right now.

i had a similar experience though. me and a friend went riding for about 3 hours, i come back and calculate that i went at least 25 miles if not more. i was surprised because it was super easy. i want to ride more but waiting for it to cool down.

a total of 25?  or 25 there and 25 back?

38 miles Is enough for me
I don't particularly wanna do that again

a total of well over 25. unfortunately it was spread across several greenways so i made a conservative estimate. it was probably well over 30.

my ex had problems keeping up with me because she didn't know how to use the gears to her advantage, it helps a LOT if you know how to use them. i used to ride a bunch when i was younger when my brother had a real nice mountain bike so i'm decent at it.
