His ashes were fired from a cannon atop a 153-foot tower of his own design (in the shape of a double-thumbed fist clutching a peyote button)
thats the way to do it

Johnny Depp paid for it all too, that's super awesome of him.

“You see this glass bong?” asks Achaan Chaa, the Thai meditation master. “For me this glass is already broken. I enjoy it; I smoke out of it. It holds my water admirably, sometimes even reflecting the sun in beautiful patterns. If I should tap it, it has a lovely ring to it. But when I put this glass bong on the shelf and the wind knocks it over or my elbow brushes it off the table and it falls to the ground and shatters, I say, ‘Of course.’ When I understand that the glass is already broken, every moment with it is precious.”[/quote]

I'm a massive fan of HST...I must have read most of his books but still need to complete the collection...got this one a little while ago:

Great pictorial book illustrating his life very well.

He was such a legend. Have they just canceled the Rum diary's movie? That book was brilliant. I read it about 4 times cause it was the only book I had in France for a month.

They're not all Hunter S's books surely. I want to read Hell's angels next. Started reading On the Campaign trail, was pretty terrible really. he wasn't happy with it himself though.
