I'll leave that to the technical gurus that be. Off the cuff, I don't think we'd want to do that simply due to the potential abuse that could occur.

The primary concerns are these:- Anonymous posting (as it currently exists) keeps username associations on the server, though this information is generally only available to the admins (
 ).
- Providing the same style of anon posting here for the cult forums may result in a false sense of security (
 ).
- Custom-hackin' the anon feature so that it is truly anonymous may result in unchecked abuse by idiots ().
- Custom-hackin' the anon feature so that there is a temporary (48 hour?) link to the original poster's account, and then having the server automatically delete the associations, may be a worthwhile compromise ().
- Such a custom hack requires extra work ().
It is something to think about...
