I'm reading the Above the Influence site. I was curious as to what they are telling people in their propaganda. I thought they only targeted marijuana, but their website includes everything from hallucinogens to steroids. All of them obviously only show the negatives, like "Young people who use marijuana weekly have double the risk of depression later in life" despite the fact that marijuana can cure depression.
Then they threw something in there about models in the marijuana myths section... I have no idea what that's about.

Does anyone else find it ironic that the government is telling us to think for ourselves about drug use rather than submitting to peer pressure and yet suggesting we assert our individuality by doing exactly what the government tells us to do?
I mean what the fuck am I supposed to do? If I smoke weed than I'm not "above the influence" because I'm submitting to peer pressure; but if I do what the government tells me I'm clearly not "above the influence" since I'm merely conforming to what the government tells me.
Seems like a paradox...so, I'll choose to keep getting high. Fuck peer pressure I smoke because I like it.

The just think their mind control is stronger then the peer pressure of people that are usually honest. Ironically people that don't smoke love me cuz they don't know I'm stoned..
