Neighbors texted again that their other dog was missing. They went out at night searching, and with help from my mother they found her- in one of the traps 
He had better just pull all the traps out of there, shits getting ridiculous. If you want to kill coyotes, do it like everyone else; by posting up at night with an automatic rifle with a thermal scope and suppressor.

No, leave them. It's not your friends fault. Is it on your property? If so then MOTHERFUCK your neighbors because they are shit owners for letting their dog get killed by not teaching it how to behave.
I live out in the country and every single dog I've ever had was trained to stay within the propery and to never chase vehicles. Never had a leash because it was never needed, and none of my dogs were ever killed.
