Yes soft on crime if you're illegal or gang banger or cartel. Hard on mj and black men fact. Even with held evidence to put and keep a inocent man in prison until the court forced her to provide it. Freeing the poor guy.
For 3.5 years she did nothing at the bolder. The bill you speak of would have allawed millions to cross unchecked and would have spent millions on wars we most likely shouldn't be funding.I love it when people only read one part of a bill.

I learned long ago the media isn't a great source for into because even they take sides.Harris's book is all telling on her and who she sees herself as. One of the things that made me laugh 4 years ago was her being named Biden's VP after she called him a racist in n live debate after Tulsi Gabbard de stroyed her by using her record against her. What really sucks is we only got T and H to choose from.I really vish both parties had choosen different people. Because If It wins things will continue going down hill. If T wins it will be another 4 year drang fest. But with . re covering ecom and a locked bolder. But a drama fest non the less.

I don’t understand why people think that just because he was the president he could commit any felony he felt like.
Everyone should be held to the law. Otherwise laws meaningless. I thought you would understand that being on a site like this. Having somebody just fragrantly break the law just because they wanna be more rich than they already are so they lie on a bunch of forms that they’re filling out in taxes in New York State. That is a federal crime. Everyone knows that you don’t lie about hundreds of thousands of dollars in property value. Especially if you were somebody who is under a lot of scrutiny like the president. How stupid would you have to be to try and do something like that?
Regular people would be in prison right now if they’d committed those crimes.
The only reason he’s not in prison is because he is Donald J Trump.

What a laughable argument. his economy was a shambles, and he destroyed by partisan bill to protect the border. I can prove that Joe Biden’s economy has been stronger than Donald Trump, but we are experiencing that.

if they were paying taxes that would help fund everything. So I’m never going to support people trying to cut their taxes. They need to pay more taxes.
There are very few things that I see that are compelling about Donald Trump.
The only thing I can see that seems to be getting people excited is his promise of mass deportations.
Which is just outright racist. If people really demand that an entire race of people be removed from this country that is Nazi/fascism propaganda.
I would never be able to support somebody that wants to turn my democracy into a fascist state. I just can’t imagine anybody would. If they did, I suppose it would have to be for one of the things that he is running for. Which don’t seem like things that align with what I want my country to stand for. Like racism.

If Trump gets elected, how likely is it that he will work to implement the majority of the claimed actions laid out in Project 2025, and what are everyone's opinion of how much success he will have if so?

I Honestly 1/4 at best. Because much of it will require support from both house and senate. I doubt he'll got much house support with out a lot of give and take something Trump isn't known for, at least by going off the first 4 years. I do agree that FDA needs reworked doubt it'll happen tho. But the past shows he'll hit the ground running. At least with him We know where he intends to go.
If Harris wins what is gonna do? Has she even posted an agenda yet? I Haven't checked her site in a day or two.

OK so Stoneth, what parts of Project 2025 do you actually support as a good move for the country, and are there any parts of it that give you a "meh, that doesn't really align with my values" feeling?
GenesisCorrupted, I haven't had time to look into this because of my work situation, do you have any links you could provide that would give everyone a good idea of Harris's agenda if she were elected? If so, same questions apply that I've put forward to Stoney about Project 2025.

None of plan 2025 is something that aligns with my beliefs.
Removing people and replacing them with toadies doesn’t sound like government to me.
There’s also discussion about tracking women’s menstruation cycles to find out when they get pregnant. That’s completely breaching peoples privacy. It’s disgusting that would be even put on paper. The whole document is absolutely diabolical in my opinion.
Which is the opposite of Kamala Harris who is running on women’s rights & abortion. She is making that a major point of her campaign.

I know a lot of people aren’t political. They wouldn’t even consider watching a debate.
But this debate promises to be a spectacle. The one between Trump and Biden last time was a hell of a thing to watch. This one might be even more entertaining.

I want somebody who knows how to do the job and can confidently accomplish that.
Not somebody “who represents people” and has no idea what they’re doing. Competency matters.
Donald Trump is an incompetent fool who had no idea what he was doing and almost ruined our democracy trying to steal the job back that he did not earn the first time. There’s also very good chance that he is demented. I haven’t heard him answer A question directly in years. I don’t think he can. The popular vote is more important than the electoral college map which is gerrymandered all the time.
It along with the filibuster should be eliminated.
