I always had fun hiking and hunting for it. I would spend entire days hiking and hunting until I was out of food and water

It gives you the Colombian Rainbow. I know 156 herbs, and I have tried over 400. Ginseng is my favorite.

It is mildly Psychedelic at high dose. It's accepted medicinal use is as a tonic, helping to regulate metabolism and all that jazz. I have a gripe with Chinese Medicine ever since I used their herbs as drugs to get lit!

I used to be able to buy a 5 pound bag of Siberian Ginseng for $25.
I found a source long ago for American Ginseng for $20 a pound.
It's actually more cost effective to use illegal drugs now.

It's weak. You have to drink a lot. People who drink coffee are fooling themselves. It's better to smoke $4 of Meth in the morning. You can still sleep at night if you only use $4 worth.

One of my favorite herbs was Nutmeg. I also tried Sassafras and Calamus. You can use Vanilla Beans or Parsley Seed I read. They are all in the MDA cluster. I want to try MDMA. Try MDA and a bunch of the others.

I think I'd rather stick to the coffee

I got sassafras trees growing all over as far as the eyes can see here!
I even have one that keeps popping up in my yard after I keep cutting it down as well!
I think I'll let it live this seaosn, as the leaves smell delicious

If you drink two or three cups of Kona Coffee, It's almost the same thing as smoking a little Meth. It's about the same dose of Meth as the Doctor will give you. It's very safe. Sassafras is what they use to make MDMA, Ecstasy. I believe it's the root or the root bark. I'm not sure. The Calamus is highly addictive. The Nutmeg is sorta too. You can also snort or just eat Meth. I consider Coffee a Thug herb, just like Meth. Most problems with Meth happen from exercising on it.

Personally, I’m trying to cultivate mushrooms. I’m cultivating some “succulents”
What about you? What’s in the garden?
Right now, nothing much.
I have some Kactus Kate T. Bridgesii cuttings that I've been growing out over the last couple of years. They're overwintering in the garage and probably won't come out until late April or early May. I'll probably take some cuttings once they get up and running again, They're getting a little top-heavy.
I'm hoping to upgrade my bucket garden to have some stands for my buckets, and a runoff collection system to conserve as much water as possible while I grow my veggies. I'm probably going to go with mostly numex chiles in the buckets, just because they're better-adapted to setting fruit at higher temps.
In my lower garden plot, I'm going to try a companion planting of Corn, pole beans, and some variety of squash (referred to as The Three Sisters). It's advertised that the corn provides a natural pole for the beans to climb, the beans fix nitrogen that the corn can use to be more productive, and squash covers the ground between the mounds of corn/beans, shading out weeds and holding moisture down near the surface.
I'm going to try and stagger planting different sections every 1-2 weeks to keep the harvest spread out a little over the season. As the crops finish up, I'll clear cut and the plant something like hairy vetch or Fava beans in the refuse as a ground cover. My hope is to get as far into the composting process as possible, with the cover crops fixing nitrogen and creating a humid microclimate around the crop refuse, before winter sets in and I have to shut down the irrigation system.
We'll see how far I get on this. I always have big plans in early spring, and end up trimming scope as work and life get in the way. Worst case, I'll get a few ears of corn and maybe a bucket of fresh beans to eat on for a few weeks.

I save all the rain water that I can too
I already have a greens garden going, consisting of Chard, Garlic, Lettuce, Kale, Cilantro, etc, and I have about 30 pepper plants inside.
I also have a bunch of herbs inside too, as well as a bunch of beans, peas, more cilantro, parsley, and only God knows what else, haha!
I still have several hundred more seeds to start, but right now I'm out of room and grow lights!
Anyway, I can't wait to see your garden, and I'll post some pics of all my stuff very soon
