it's actually not stop motion, just a long ass time spent in front of an editor manipulating video of him hitting single notes, or single drum/cymbal hits. It's still a lot of fun to watch, even though he can't actually play the instruments, he still has some solid musical talent. I like the drums, but i think the piano part is the most interesting.
