I got my CC a while back in my home state, haven't yet taken the time to figure it out since I've moved to a different state

I grew up in a very pro-gun family, target practice with pellet rifles and 22s were some of my earlier childhood memories. My 12 y/o self got wrecked by my first time with a 12 gauge (it borderline gave my skinny ass whiplash).

I've never felt uncomfortable around firearms (I mean aside from the healthy fear that keeps you from ever pointing or sweeping one at/across anyone, and always assume a gun is loaded until personally validated), but aside from target practice (I was into long range when I was a teenager), I've never really had an interest in firearms.

I still own several handguns and an AR, but only because my crazy family gives people guns for Christmas/birthdays because they think the end-times are just around the corner.

I don't like the idea of hunting, and I'm pretty sure I'm too much of a pussy to shoot an animal when I don't need to. I prefer to bury my head in the sand and buy my murdered animal parts from the grocery store. That said, I have no judgement on those that responsibly hunt (and by responsibly I mean not harvesting too many of any one animal off of a plot of land, and either paying fees for or directly planting crops or general land management that keeps up the land and the animal population that One hunts). I also feel like I should at some point learn how to hunt and dress some of the more common animals in the US, just so I feel slightly more comfortable with my ability to survive without a grocery store nearby.

I prefer fishing, specifically catfishing because I'm lazy and like catching monsters that I have an excuse not to kill for food (unless they're flatheads, those fuckers can get huge and never get that muddy taste that other catfish get).

I am also not a stereotypical yeehaw American, I'm just a product of my environment.
