 Just tripping on growing methods and change!

I am almost 44 YO! The growing methods sure have changed. I started growing in the 8th grade. My mom decided to let me grow under a 250 watt HPS light I had from a science project.
My dream is to have a breeding operation with big fields and indoor grows and a high tech lab to test for factors. I used to study Agricultural Ecology in college but dropped to make glass pipes. I really liked chemistry and lab work and I wanted to become a Soil Science major!

I'm fifty five and am still growing using the same method since 1988. Hydroponics using non recovery method with rockwool slabs under HPS lighting.
Our dream is alive and well here in Canada where I just started my super lemon haze seeds. All 100% legal!

I tried some puffed clay pebbles called geolite in bags but I screwed up and killed the plants. I always wanted to grow outside. I grew up in Hollywood and grew organic in soil. It's dumb to do production under a light. I would only grow indoors for breeding. Wouldn't that be chill to have big fields to isolate and breed traits in or out!

I studied genetic engineering and seed banks to preserve genetic diversity. I worked on an organic farm one summer and looked through the Seed Saver's Exchange book and found a tomato that could take the heat. I love growing trippy heirloom stuff. I should have stayed on the farm and never left!

My method of growing is in soil heavily fertilized with rock powders and watered every time with microbes added. I grow in big, deep containers. The microbes make the soil really funky and the bud gets really funky too.
I don't know what kind of microbes and soil are cutting edge any more I haven't grown in a long time. Add earthworms to your soil.
Oh it's so bomb to grow. I really miss smoking the buds and getting to know the plants first as I grow.
